A little more info on possible location for Labor Day starring Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin and Jason Reitman,Production folks are mum on the details…seriously? Maybe they should take a few lessons from the folks shooting GrownUps2 in Marblehead and the stars are a bit more friendly,as well as production. Welcome to Hollywood Shelburne Falls!
NeHollywood.com loves this. More Hollywood East mania! Bring it on Paramount Pictures…
I came across this website Penelope’sOasis that list Great Movies set in Boston…I love this…sorta brings ya back to all of those great movies that were made in Boston,Good Will Hunting with Matt Damon and Robin Williams,The Departed, with major stars like Jack Nicholson,Mark Wahlberg and Matt Damon and many others.
Boston has recently become the movie mecca of Hollywood, with great backdrops, scenery, coastal towns, like Marblehead Mass being the place for GrownUps2 and soon to be Marshfield Mass for The Way Way Back movie with Steve Carell, being shot in June and July, Labor Day with Kate Winslet. And in September,Jack Skyyler will bring Haunted Ship to Quincy’s Fore River Ship Yard aboard the U.S.S. Salem Ship. NeHollywood.com loves this!

My Summer Playlist
I’m not an actor, but a background actor, and Yours truly NeHollywood.com blog writer..My playlist is to take in the summer warmth and enjoy living in Maine, spending time with dear ole Mom,do one movie this Summer and the Haunted Ship in Mass in September.
Marshfield residents will love this, and so does NeHollywood.com The main street area of Marshfield where Steve Carell’s General store is very lens friendly and will certainly be a great backdrop and feature in Steve Carell’s The Way Way Back movie..It appears that the Marshfield Mariner has not gotten word of this yet? Interesting. Marshfield is in a seaside community and is close to Scituate Mass. Marshfield will love having you film your film there Steve!
