NeHollywood.com We all love a new Kennedy baby!
NeHollywood.com my two cents here…The last major film shot in New Hampshire as I know was Jumaji with Robin Williams and Kristen Dunst. Of course there have been scores of independent films produced and directed in the Keene New Hampshire area and you have Film Historian Producer and Director Ken Burns, but over big budget films are far and few between the trees and barns of the Granite State. Why not bring the big film tax credits to New Hampshire like its neighbor Massachusetts, where scores of big budget films are currently being filmed. I don’t want to get on the Mass Film tri fecta windfall, but if this NH Coalition wants to bring big budget films to town, they need to do all they can to lure more films there, take some location scouts on a whirl wind tour of New Hampshire, show em all the pluses and forget about the negatives. As I am writing this view,I am thinking, hey I live in Maine, why can’t Maine get off its butt and do the same thing, well there’s a problem with that,Maine has a lame ass Governor who has managed to pull the plug on alot of needed programs for the elderly and disabled, what does this have to do with the film tax credits, for Maine, because there is no real film tax credits here in Maine. I am happy to know that the Granite State is seeing all the Film mania in Mass, and its high time they get on the big film band wagon. Why not,its a beautiful state!
