Are you ready to work in TV? You will be after taking this class with acclaimed
LA Casting Director, Ann Maney! Learn about the casting process, navigating the
networks, and what it takes to get in front of the right people in the television
industry. Each student will be given sides to perform in front of Ms. Maney and
the class. Direction and critique will be given to each student. The workshop
will conclude with a Q&A session, so come prepared with all your questions!
Ann will personally consult and provide feedback and advice to each actor.
BONUS! Students will be mailed a DVD of their best audition performances!
More about Ann Maney – Ms. Maney has worked as a talent agent, development executive,
and VP, Casting at 20th Century Fox Television. She has worked with or hired many
of the current Casting Directors on staff at the major LA and NYC studios and
networks. She currently serves as Vice President, Development at Management Squared
where she scouts talent and writers and develops comedy and drama scripts for ABC
Family, NBC and Fox. Ms. Maney is currently working on the new HBO show THE NEWSROOM
written by Aaron Sorkin. She also continues to develop scripted and reality projects
for networks and cable.

My take two on this story..
No matter if there was tension on the Witches of Eastwick set,It was a great film shot right in Cohasset at the Town Commons and on South Main street and in Scituate on Front Street. I wish I was there to get a part in that movie and I remember the casting call held at the Cohasset Elementary school. The Cohasset Mariner did an outstanding article on the making of the Witches of Eastwick. NeHollywood.com loves this movie!

Kudos to all of the great talent We have in New England and I am so happy that Hollywood continues to focus on New England for that reason.
My Take Two on this story..Steve Carell brings his movie The Way Way Back to Marshfield this July,What a great way to start the Summer on the South Shore with a major movie being made there and if I recall..Its been a long while since a major movie was made on the South Shore..Marshfield, Scituate, Cohasset or Hingham etc. NeHollywood.com loves this!
