Part-time Marshfield resident Steve Carell to shoot new film in Massachusetts.
In one of my previous blog postings…I got word that Steve Carell would be shooting his movie “The Way Way Back” feature in Marshfield,Mass this Summer,and its pretty amazing that this will take place.Great for a small town like Marshfield,great for locals and exposure for future films to be made in the sea side community,a very image driven town. I applaud Steve for bringing Hollywood to his home town. I cannot remember the last time a movie was shot in Marshfield and I am hoping there are many more films to be shot there. The town has that kind of Burl Ives feel to it. That should set the scene right off! Anyways I hope that Steve Carell does not have any location snafu’s like with Columbia Pictures shooting GrownUps2 in Marblehead Mass this month,as it did with the Marblehead High School field. There seems to be an issue with something when Hollywood rolls into any given town.
